The Belvedere Park Rawhides defeated the Casper Ghosts, 6-1, in M3L Double A action at Field of the Rawhides, with Belvedere Park pitcher Sixto Soto named player of the game. Soto, now 5-2, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 10, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. Casper has now lost 5 consecutive games.
Early in the game, designated hitter Nelson Muntz had a 2-run double for Belvedere Park. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Rawhides on top, 2-0.
"We were in it," said Casper manager Steve Carpenter. "We just didn't score enough runs."
