|
José Molina never let the Casper Ghosts find their groove. Throughout the game, Molina relied on his bread and butter, his curveball, in pitching the Thunder Hawks to a win. In 7.2 innings, Molina surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Even with the win, the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks have a dismal 15-33 record.
Also pitching in was Ft. Polk South designated hitter Rob Morse, who hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, Morse was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
