Ghosts Go Down to Defeat, 6-2
|
It was a fun time at Heron Field, where the Casper Ghosts and Glendale Herons tangled.
Takechi Okubo left his imprint on the 6-2 Glendale win against the Casper Ghosts. Okubo, who leads the 3AA with a 1.023 OPS, was 1-2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Herons, now 27-17, have won 5 in a row.
Yun-qi Chien's at-bat in the bottom of the fourth was significant for the Herons. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Glendale trailing 2-1, the second baseman hit a sacrifice fly.
"Slowly but surely, the wins are piling up," said Chien.
