Grasshoppers Jolt Shooters with Late Rally
The San Bernardino Grasshoppers and Springfield Shooters obliged those fans who came to Springfield Stadium hoping for an exciting game.

The San Bernardino Grasshoppers beat the Springfield Shooters, 7-6, at Springfield Stadium. San Bernardino designated hitter Eric Porter earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs. San Bernardino is now 15-18, Springfield 22-11.

Natale Langushi, not known for his power, had a big at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth. That's when he connected on a fastball from Gabriel Valenzuela for a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season put San Bernardino in front, 6-4.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Langushi.
