Ghosts, De La Cruz Pin Bad Loss on Shooters
|
The Casper Ghosts topped the Springfield Shooters by the score of 13-2, with the largest share of the credit going to third baseman Roberto De La Cruz. De La Cruz was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Ghosts. Raymond Allan got the win, improving to 3-2. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 3. The Ghosts raised their record to 17-11.
Early in the game, De La Cruz had a 2-run home run for Casper. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Ghosts on top, 4-2.
