Seawolves Come Up Short at San Bernardino
|
San Bernardino used a superb performance from starting pitcher Delmar Llerena to down the Long Island Seawolves, 8-0. Max Cook picked up the save, his 1st. Long Island, at 3-15, has had a dismal start to the season.
Francisco Rodríguez took José González deep with two out in the bottom of the fourth. On a first pitch circle change, Rodríguez drilled a 3-run home run to left. It was his 1st home run of the season and put San Bernardino on top, 3-0.
"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager Matt Helsley.
