Marquette rode a good effort from starter Benjamin Busto to beat the Casper Ghosts at Marquette Stadium. The final score was 6-2. Busto went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 1-0. Félix Santiago finished to wrap up his 1st save.
Tural Bishara contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the third. With the bases loaded, he grounded out, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat that helped Marquette get the win.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," said Busto.
Things have gone south in a hurry for the defending champion Miners, who notched only their 3rd win in 8 games.
