Getting an impressive start from Kenny Koehler, Wizarding beat Boston by the score of 3-1. Koehler went 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 1 hits, walked 3, and struck out 3. His record improves to 1-0. Eijiro Takahashi earned the save for Wizarding, his 26th of the year.
In the bottom of the third, Nathan Tanner hit a run-scoring single for Wizarding. The 67th hit of the season for the Wizarding left fielder put the Express on top, 1-0.
"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Tyler Carter.
At 40-27, the Express are currently second in the Premier League.
