Dutchmen Reel Off Another Win
|
Getting an impressive start from Bobby Swain, New Amsterdam beat Greenville by the score of 3-2. Glenn Butler closed the game out for New Amsterdam, earning his 16th save. New Amsterdam has now won 8 in a row.
One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the seventh. That's when Félix López, who is tied for 4th in the 3L in bases on balls with 70, drew a walk. The Dutchmen went on to win.
"This was a good win," said López.
