Express Take Tight Tilt

The Wizarding Express began the 2028 season with a convincing 4-2 win over the Panama City Piranhas at Platform 9 3/4. Most impressive was Wizarding right fielder Rafael Arredondo, who went 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Charles Dobson picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 6 in 6.1 innings. Eijiro Takahashi closed it out for his 1st save.
Arredondo came through with some timely hitting for Wizarding. With the score 1-0 in the bottom of the third and two down, Arredondo hit a 1-1 cutter for a 2-run single. It was his 4th hit of the season -- and a big reason the Express managed to win.
Arredondo called the win "a collective effort."
