|
Juan López pitched a gem to lead Calgary to a 7-1 victory over the Alloway Halberds. López got the win, improving to 5-5. He allowed 5 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. López allowed no earned runs. Calgary goes to 61-40. The win puts them 3 games up in their division.
Miguel Rosales was a key contributor to the win for the Lynx. In the bottom of the fourth with two out, the light-hitting right fielder stroked a double to left. He was 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
"I thought we played a nice game," Rosales told the Calgary Observer. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
