Halberds Walk It Off for 30th Win of Season
|
Pennsauken wasted a solid 7.1-inning effort from starting pitcher Augusto Ramos, losing to Alloway, 2-1, at Ballpark of Alloway. The Halberds now have a record of 30-65 with the win over Pennsauken.
Juan Salinas was the walk-off hero for Alloway. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Alloway designated hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Alloway manager Santiago Vargas.
