Dominant Performance by Arteaga in Pennsauken Win
|
Pennsauken right-hander Alejandro Arteaga made an effective start against the Alloway Halberds at Ballpark of Alloway, leading his team to a 11-0 win. Jeren Kendall picked up the save, his 4th. The Flyers now own a record of 51-43.
It was an impressive turn from the legendarily hard-working Arteaga, who tallied 8 strikeouts in 7 innings while allowing just 1 hit. Arteaga, who is tied for 5th in the SAAA in strikeouts with 102, goes to 9-5 on the year with 102 strikeouts.
"I liked his command," said Pennsauken manager Juan Rodríguez. "Alejandro was throwing strikes."
