The Tortolita Drummers and Salt Lake City Buzz provided some drama at Drummers Ballpark.

Salt Lake City Buzz starter Ben Hopley pitched a strong game against the Tortolita Drummers at Drummers Ballpark, leading the Buzz to a 6-3 win. Hopley got the win, improving to 8-7. He allowed 8 hits and walked 2 over 6.2 innings. Hopley allowed 3 earned runs.

In the top of the seventh, Qi-zhen Loong had a big run-scoring double off Pedro Figueroa. With the double, the Salt Lake City first baseman put his team in front, 4-3. He went 2-3 with a double and a walk in the contest.

In postgame remarks, Loong said: "To all who've been doubting my effort -- I hope they saw this game."

The 6th-place Buzz now have a win-loss record of 45-45.
