Pawnee turned a good effort from starter Brewster Warble into a win over the Tortolita Drummers at Whips Ballpark. The final score was 2-1. Roberto Silva nailed down his 1st save. Pawnee has now won 4 games in a row.
Pawnee designated hitter Tom Benjamin changed the complexion of the game in the bottom of the sixth. That's when he belted a 2-run home run off Eduardo Bravo. His 11th home run of the season put Pawnee in front, 2-1.
