Buzz Pull Back to Even with 5-3 Victory
|
The Salt Lake City Buzz picked up a win at Spirits Stadium, knocking off the Alloway Halberds, 5-3. Starting pitcher Caleb Sobieski was an essential part of his team's success. The Buzz sit in 6th place in the Silver AAA with a record of 43-43.
Yannick Hendriksen aided the Salt Lake City cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the designated hitter drew 2 walks in 5 plate appearances.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Alloway manager Santiago Vargas said following the tough loss.
