The Tortolita Drummers topped the Sunset District Fog, 8-3, with Ricardo Pacheco playing a big role. Pacheco slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Drummers in the win. Tortolita bumps their record to 40-39 with the win.
Jeb Sexton aided the Tortolita cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the second. For the game, the shortstop went 1 for 3 with a double.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Sunset District manager Rudy Hankins, "let me know."
