Drummers Pin 8-7 Loss on Lynx
|
Drummers shortstop Steve Costillo put his stamp on his team's 8-7 win over the Calgary Lynx. Costillo was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Tortolita in the contest. Tortolita is 35-36 and Calgary, with the loss, 43-28.
A defensive miscue in the top of the third could have cost the Drummers. With Tortolita trailing 2-1, Sean Godron reached on an error by the P. In the end, Tortolita was still able to win the ballgame.
