The Alloway Halberds got a stellar performance from pitcher John Hamilton, who handcuffed the Port Royal offense en route to a 3-2 win at Ballpark of Port Royal. John Hicks earned the save for Alloway, his 5th of the year. The Halberds, at 20-48, sit in last place in the Silver AAA.

José Zarate, who was drafted in the two round of the 2027 draft, aided the Alloway cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1 for 1 with a double.

Hamilton called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
