Port Royal overcame a superlative game from Orlando De Jesús to beat Alloway, 2-1. The Alloway pitcher took player of the game honors in a losing cause. He threw 8 innings of shutout ball. Port Royal reliever Cipriano Costa was credited with the win, to go to 2-4. António Muńóz took the loss for Alloway. Port Royal, at 25-42, occupies 9th place in the Silver AAA.

Ronnie Cleveland was the walk-off hero for Port Royal. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Port Royal third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We take it day by day here," said Cleveland, "and today was a good one for us."
