Wazowski 4-4, Fog Move to 41-25
|
The exploits of designated hitter Mike Wazowski, who is rated as the 28th best prospect by BNN, helped the Sunset District Fog defeat the Port Royal Disaster, 8-2. Wazowski was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Mal Houser was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, with no walks and 6 strikeouts. At 41-25, the Fog have a slim two-game lead in the Silver AAA.
Wazowski had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the fifth. On a first pitch fastball from Ray Mangas, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Fog a 5-1 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Wazowski.
