Battlekings Pin 6-2 Loss on Disaster
|
Naperville right-hander Tom McKee made an effective start against the Port Royal Disaster at Ballpark of Port Royal, leading his team to a 6-2 win. McKee went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 0, and struck out 6. His record improves to 5-3. Chris Rogers earned the save, his 3rd, for the Battlekings.
Alexis Raimbault's at-bat in the top of the seventh was significant, coming with runners on 1st and 2nd and the game tied, 1-1. The Naperville designated hitter hit a 2-run double off Joe Griffin to put the Battlekings up.
"Slowly but surely, the wins are piling up," said McKee.
Naperville's record now stands at 31-26, placing them 5th in the Silver AAA.
