The Salt Lake City Buzz did just enough to sneak past the Alloway Halberds, 4-1, at Ballpark of Alloway. Salt Lake City pitcher Caleb Sobieski earned player of the game honors. Luis Bejarano was credited with the save for Salt Lake City, his 7th of the season. Alloway is trying to get off the schneid, having lost 8 in a row.
Salt Lake City took control in the top of the eighth. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Jasper Otto hit a 2-run single to make it 3-1, Buzz.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Salt Lake City manager Enrique Zumaya. "Our pregame was pretty good."
