Calgary Lynx starter Bartolo Ruíz was in fine form against the Port Royal Disaster at Lynx Stadium, leading his team to a 6-2 win. Calgary reliever José Larranaga was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Dave Tomlinson. Calgary is 4th in the Silver AAA with a record of 25-21.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Michael Garrett was at the plate when Calgary scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Lynx to go in front, 3-2.
