Lynx Lose to Flyers in Walk Off
|
The Flyers had to overcome a fine performance from Calgary pitcher Roy Shively to grab a 3-2 win at Pennsauken Park. Shively went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Pennsauken now sits at 26-19, while Calgary falls to 24-21.
Vinski Prifti was the walk-off hero for Pennsauken. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Pennsauken right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Prifti said.
