Behind a solid performance from center fielder Ramón García, the Tortolita Drummers defeated the Alloway Halberds, 7-5. García went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs for the Drummers. Francis Cahill nailed down his 1st save. The Drummers now own a record of 23-21.

In the bottom of the 6th, the Drummers grabbed the lead on a two-out double by Marcos Roa. Tortolita at the time was trailing 5-4, but Roa's 2-run double off Shi-lin Li put his team in front.

"It wasn't our best performance," said García, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
