Marvin Hunter made an impact in the 3-2 Port Royal win over Sunset District. Hunter, who is tied for 3rd in the SAAA in hits with 46, went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Cipriano Costa got credit for the save for Port Royal. It was his 3rd of the year. With the win, Port Royal has a record of 17-23. Sunset District falls to 25-15.
Bob Daugherty drove in one run for Port Royal. In the bottom of the fourth, with the teams deadlocked, 2-2, Daugherty delivered for the Disaster. His run-scoring ground out put Port Royal on top, 3-2.
