Fernández Dazzles in Calgary Win

Spirits Stadium was the site for USSL Triple A action featuring the Salt Lake City Buzz and Calgary Lynx.
Calgary Lynx starter Octávio Fernández turned in a top-notch performance against the Salt Lake City Buzz at Spirits Stadium. The result was a win for the Lynx, 5-0. The Lynx go to 20-19, putting them 5th in the Silver AAA.
Fernández ran roughshod through the Salt Lake City lineup. The left-hander allowed just 4 hits over 8.1 innings, while striking out 6. With the victory, he goes to 5-1 on the season.
"We'll try to build on that win," Fernández told the Calgary Observer.
