Halberds Saddle Disaster with 7-3 Loss
Alloway played host to Port Royal at the friendly confines of Ballpark of Alloway.

The Port Royal Disaster got a superb performance from pitcher Nam Yee Yong, but the Halberds still won the game, 7-3. Yong was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 5 innings of 1-hit ball. The last-place Halberds are now 13-23, the Disaster 14-22.

In the bottom of the 7th, catcher Jorge Flores gave Alloway the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Halberds had been trailing 3-2, but the two-out single off Port Royal pitcher Ray Mangas changed that -- and Alloway went on to win.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Flores.
