The Alloway Halberds eeked out a 2-0 win versus the Port Royal Disaster at Ballpark of Alloway. Nobody did more than pitcher Bob Browning, who captured player of the game honors. Browning went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 4, and struck out 8. His record improves to 2-5. Picking up the save was Rewa Malaki, his 1st.

Alloway took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Jorge Flores hit a run-scoring single to make it 1-0, Halberds.

"I really like what we did out there today," Browning said after the game.

The Halberds are now 12-22, while the Disaster fall to 13-21.
