Halberds Stick Fog with 8-6 Loss
|
Pedro Pérez had a good game, but he could not keep the Sunset District Fog from falling, 8-6, to the Alloway Halberds at Ballpark of Alloway. The Sunset District left fielder went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 in the loss. The last-place Halberds are now 7-19, the Fog 17-9.
Cisco Hernández broke a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the fourth with a run-scoring walk. It put the Halberds in front, 4-3. For the game, Hernández was 1-3 with 2 walks. He scored 2 runs.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Alloway manager Santiago Vargas.
