The Port Royal Disaster knocked off the Salt Lake City Buzz, 10-7, at Ballpark of Port Royal. Winston Sparks, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Port Royal won. The second baseman went 1 for 2 with 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Omar Casteneda picked up the save for Port Royal, his 5th of the year.

In the bottom of the first, Marvin Hunter hit a 2-run home run for Port Royal. The 4th home run of the season for the Port Royal left fielder put the Disaster on top, 2-0.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Bobby Robinson.

The win pushes Port Royal to a record of 9-11.
