The Calgary Lynx and Tortolita Drummers provided some drama at Drummers Ballpark.
Getting an impressive start from Eduardo Bravo, Tortolita beat Calgary by the score of 6-1. The win leaves Tortolita with a record of 4-3.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Francisco López didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Calgary trailing 3-1, López retired Gilberto Rodríguez to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said López, with a wink.
