Morris Spins Shutout Against Calgary
|
In an excellent mound performance, Brian Morris of the Salt Lake City Buzz whitewashed the Calgary Lynx 3-0 on a 2-hitter.
He said after the game, "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches."
The Calgary manager said, "We just didn't swing the bats well today. Morris did a good job keeping us guessing."
In all, the Salt Lake City hurler rang up 7 strikeouts and 1 walk in the shutout win.
