|
Calgary rode a good effort from starter Octávio Fernández to beat the Salt Lake City Buzz at Lynx Stadium. The final score was 3-2. With the win, Calgary elevates its record to 3-1.
José León was the walk-off hero for Calgary. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Calgary right fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"It's a mindset," said Fernández. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
