Mermen right fielder Ferris Minor put his stamp on his team's 11-3 win over the Irving Blue Sox. Minor went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for Myrtle Beach in the contest. The winner was Chris Hayes, who threw 125 pitches over 9 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 4 hits. Myrtle Beach has now reeled off 7 straight wins.
