Armstead Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Lancaster in Walk-Off Win
The Farmers had to overcome a fine performance from Tacoma pitcher Baruc Garibay to grab a 5-4 win at Farmers Field. Garibay went 7.2 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Bert Gean picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Luis Ruíz was tagged with the loss. Lancaster occupies 9th place in the Silver AA at 43-58.

Mark Armstead provided some late-game heroics for Lancaster. In the bottom of the 11th inning, he hit a run-scoring single. It came on a 2-1 slider from Luis Ruíz and propelled Lancaster to a 5-4 lead.

Armstead said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
