Rails Squelch Durham Offense in Shutout Win
Richland got an elite performance from starting pitcher Shotaro Sugahara in taking a 6-0 decision over the Durham Rapiers. Matt Crowley closed the game out for Richland, earning his 1st save. The Rails are now 55-37, while the Rapiers fall to 57-35.

Also making an impact was left fielder Fernando Granados, who drilled a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fifth for Richland. For the game, Granados was 2-2 with a double.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Granados told the Richland Bulletin. "It's as simple as that."
