Farmers Edge Past Bethesda, 3-2

The Lancaster Farmers scored a 3-2 win versus the Bethesda Atoms at Farmers Field. Lancaster pitcher Woody Hudson nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Lancaster reliever Seishiro Sato picked up the win, upping his record to 1-3. Hakan Yilmanz absorbed the loss. The win puts the Farmers at 36-43, while the Atoms drop to 34-45.
One significant at-bat for Lancaster came with the bases empty in the bottom of the 11th. The hitter, Carlos Germán, drew a walk, which helped the Farmers go on to win.
"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Germán told the Lancaster Chronicle.
