Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Rails
Despite a fine performance by right fielder Juan Aranda, the Minnesota Loons suffered a 5-4 loss to the Richland Rails. Aranda went 2 for 2 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Richland reliever Bart Gresham was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was José Juárez. The Rails now have a record of 46-31.

Richland won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. That's when pinch hitter Wayne Saunders hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Rails fans to their feet.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Saunders said.
