Richland Hot Streak Continues with 3-2 Win
|
Richland Rails starter Barney Starr was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Lancaster Farmers, 3-2. Richland reliever Bart Gresham was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Seishiro Sato took the loss. The Rails, at 35-26, have now won 9 straight.
Richland took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, Orlando Casillas hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Rails.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Lancaster manager Omer van Osch. "The effort was great."
