The Irving Blue Sox did just enough to sneak past the Lancaster Farmers, 4-2, at Farmers Field. Irving pitcher Anastasio Enríquez earned player of the game honors. Kenete Daku locked down his 5th save. The Farmers, at 25-33, have lost 4 in a row.
Also having an impact was designated hitter Phil Sherman, who stroked a 2-run single in the top of the fourth for Irving. For the game, Sherman went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
