Hops Win Behind Cabañas, 3-1
|
The Yakima Hops got a magnificent performance from pitcher Miguel Cabañas, who muffled the Richland offense en route to a tight 3-1 Hops win at Rails Ballpark. The first-place Hops have a one-game lead in their division.
Cabañas allowed no earned runs on 2 hits over 7 innings for the Hops. He walked 2 and struck out 7.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Yakima manager Craig Walters. "Our pregame was pretty good."
