Sixshooters Suffer 3-1 Loss to Farmers
|
In a low-scoring game between the Lancaster Farmers and the Westwood Sixshooters, pitcher Santiago López was masterful on the mound. The Lancaster right-hander was named the player of the game in Lancaster's 3-1 win. The winning pitcher was López, now 4-5. He tossed 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 6. The Sixshooters have now dropped 5 straight.
Pancho Farías's at-bat in the top of the eighth was significant for the Farmers. Coming to the plate with runners on 1st and 2nd and Lancaster leading 2-1, the left fielder hit a run-scoring single.
