Rapiers Continue Hot Start to Season with Win
Durham Rapiers starter Robbie Betchley was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Lancaster Farmers, 4-1. Briggs Bourgeois earned the save for Durham, his 14th of the year. With the win, Durham goes to 24-11, while the Farmers fall to 13-22.

Durham took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, when Mike Strickland hit a clutch 2-run home run to bring Rapiers fans to their feet.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Durham Rapiers manager Brody Roberts, "I like our chances."
