Blue Sox Fall to Masson, Rails
Richland right fielder Jérôme Masson was instrumental in his team's 15-4 win over the Irving Blue Sox. Masson, who is tied for 5th in the SAA in RBI with 20, went 4-5 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Rails. The Blue Sox, at 18-14, have lost 4 in a row.

Masson had a game-changing double in the top of the first. On a first pitch curveball from Alfonso Dolton, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Rails a 2-0 lead. It was the 10th double of the year for Masson.

"We maximized our offense today," said Richland skipper Allen Bartlett. "That makes everyone's life easier."
