Rails Win Behind Starr, 2-0
|
The Richland Rails got a magnificent performance from pitcher Barney Starr, who muffled the Minnesota offense en route to a tight 2-0 Rails win at Rails Ballpark. Richland has now won 3 in a row.
In his 90-pitch effort, Starr allowed no earned runs on 4 hits over 7.1 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 7.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Starr said.
