Yakima Hot Streak Continues with 4-0 Win
The exploits of third baseman Lenny Roper, who is tied for 10th in the SAA in bases on balls with 8, helped the Yakima Hops defeat the Lancaster Farmers, 4-0. Roper went 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Yakima Hops, now 14-3, have stormed out of the gates.

Roper came through with some timely hitting for Yakima. With the score 1-0 in the bottom of the second and one down, Roper hit a 1-1 fastball for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season -- and a big reason the Hops managed to win.

"I like the roll we're on right now," said Roper after the game.
