The Rails had to overcome a fine performance from Westwood pitcher Roosevelt Guimond to grab a 7-5 win at Sixshooters Stadium. Guimond went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Jorge Mejía got credit for the save for Richland. It was his 5th of the year. The win gives Richland a record of 9-8.

Tan Bal had the most critical at-bat for Richland, coming in the top of the ninth inning with one out and a runner on 2nd. Bal hit a 1-0 changeup from Christian Clayton for a run-scoring double. It put Richland in front, 6-5.

"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Ken Miller. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
