Rails Pin 4-3 Loss on Farmers
|
Richland Rails starter Shotaro Sugahara pitched a strong game against the Lancaster Farmers at Farmers Field, leading the Rails to a 4-3 win. The win leaves Richland with a record of 7-7.
The Rails got a big at-bat from Jorge Colón. For the game, Colón went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Richland a 4-3 lead.
"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Sugahara told the Richland Bulletin.
